The Bureau of Gender Affairs, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Youth Development Programme, will host several Men???s Health outreach activities under the theme: Working to Expand Reproductive Options for Men.

The outreach is intended to provide a platform for the public to access information and services concerning men???s reproductive health.

It will take the form of a panel discussion and a free immunisation, testing and counselling session.

The panel discussion will be held at the Valley Resource Centre, Valley, St. George, on Monday, November 16, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Panellists are Renrick Gaskin who will lead talks on: Men and Mental Health: Coping Skills for Better Living; Dr. Elliott Doughlin, who will speak on: Men, Diet and Sudden Death; and Dr. Renee Best, who will discuss: A Comprehensive View on Men???s Reproductive Health.

The immunisation, testing and counselling session will take place at the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic, Warrens, St. Michael, on Thursday, November 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Several health checks will be available, including flu and tetanus shots, as well as tests for blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol and HIV. At 11:00 a.m., there will also be special activities carried out by the National Task Force on Physical Activity and Exercise.
