The National Nutrition Centre has produced The Healthy Eating Guide for Barbados to encourage persons to make better meal choices.
The guide was launched recently as part of activities for Nutrition Month which is being celebrated in May. It aims to encourage healthy eating habits to prevent and manage chronic nutrition-related diseases.
The information contained in the publication is intended for persons aged five and older. Individuals with particular diseases and conditions should consult their healthcare provider or nutrition professional before following the guidelines.
