Persons attending Agrofest in Queen???s Park this weekend will get the opportunity to view the linkages between agriculture and tourism at a number of events.

Organised by the Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with the Hotel PomMarine, Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture and Pure Ocean Restaurant, the activities include seminars promoting the use of healthy foods conducted by students of the Hospitality Institute.

Sculptor Marlon Waterman will also show off his skills in carving fruit and ice in various figurines. ??On Saturday, February 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. there will be a ???pickled??? Saturday lunch featuring an ?? La Carte menu prepared by Chef Henderson Butcher of the Pure Ocean Restaurant.

The Annual Plantation breakfast will be held on Sunday, March 1, from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m., where patrons can sample a number of Caribbean delicacies.??Interested persons can find the booth to the right of the main entrance to Queen???s Park.
