Members of the public are encouraged to come out in their numbers to a healthy lifestyle extravaganza on Sunday, May 29, at the Belfield Playing Field, Black Rock, St. Michael, from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m.

Under the theme: We are One – Let’s Move Together, the extravaganza is being hosted by the Child Care Board (CCB) in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Wellness, the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the National Nutrition Centre.

During the afternoon, there will be demonstrations and activities including football, road tennis, martial arts, dancercise and a kids’ obstacle course.

Information on healthier eating on a limited budget and the importance of movement in healthier living will also be shared during the evening.

The event forms part of the activities to mark Child Month 2022, which is being celebrated from May 1 to 31, under the theme: Nurturing Children, Strengthening Families. All COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.
