Barbados??? Hennessy Artistry show is the perfect ???blend??? for locals and visitors.

Chairman of the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. (BTMI), Alvin Jemmott, made this assertion at the event???s launch last Friday at the Divi Southwinds Beach Resort, St. Lawrence, Christ Church.

???This Hennessy Artistry event brings Barbadians and visitors alike together. Long may it continue to be an event where entertainment can provide that wonderful platform, where people can enjoy our country and most importantly, spend money here in the country with us,??? Mr. Jemmott stated.

Pointing out that events such as Hennessy Artistry provided a space for visitor interaction with residents, he said: ???We really appreciate creating events that allow our tourism product to be one that is enjoyed by all visitors and they can interact with Barbadians at large.???

The BMTI???s Chairman added that the show also came at the right time of the year. ???It creates a wonderful platform. There are a lot of other things going on in Barbados around that time which also enhances visitor stay??? like Run Barbados, and the Race of Champions. [But] none of those other events will supersede this event, because [the organisers of] Hennessey Artistry have been doing this for a while,??? he said.

The 6th Hennessy Artistry will take place on Saturday, December 6, at Kensington Oval. It will feature international recording artiste, Joe; Barbadian reggae sensation, Buggy Nhakente, and Jamaica artistes Sizzla Kalonji, Konshens, Etana and Tarrus Riley.
