Members of the public are invited to attend two upcoming activities later this month being hosted by the St. Peter Parish Independence Committee (PIC).

The first activity will be a Heritage Lecture, which will be held on Wednesday, November 13, at the Speightstown Resource Centre, Corner of Sand Street and Major Walk.

The lecture, entitled People, Politics and Places in St. Peter, will begin at 7:30 p.m., and will feature historian Robert “Bobby” Morris.

Following this, the committee will host a cricket match between a team representing the district of Indian Ground, and the St. Peter PIC invitational combined team – the St. Peter Pelicans.

It will be held on Saturday, November 16, from 7:00 until 11:00 p.m., at the Mahaica/Speightstown playing field, which is to the immediate north of the bus terminal.
