Senior Public Servants will later this week receive greater insight into Understanding the Role of Heritage to National Development.

It comes in the form of a seminar being held in collaboration with the Training Administration Division on Friday, June 19, at 8:15 a.m. in the conference room of Kensington Oval.

The seminar, which is aimed at building greater partnerships and support for Heritage related programmes also seeks to inform persons on the benefits of the inscription of Historic Bridgetown and its Garrison as a UNESCO World Heritage property to Barbados.

There will be several presentations which will explain the Outstanding Universal Value of the property in terms of the site???s political, commercial, military and cultural significance and benefits to the country.
