The Ministry of Tourism’s next Freedom Footprints: The Barbados Story heritage tour will be held on Saturday, March 5, beginning at the Barbados Museum, the Garrison, St. Michael, starting at 9 a.m.
This is the fifth in the pilot tour series, which highlights areas of historic interest throughout the island, including the site of The Cage in Bridgetown, Newton Slave Burial Ground, Christ Church and Sweetvale, (formerly Sweetbottom) St. George.?? The sixth tour will be held on Thursday, March 17.
