The monthly Hike for Wellness, organised by the Ministry of Health and Wellness in collaboration with the National Task Force on Wellness, comes off on Sunday, October 25.

Starting at 3:00 p.m. at the Haggatts Factory Yard, St. Andrew, the six-mile hike is expected to last three hours. Hikers will leave the factory yard and head over the hill to St. Simons. They will then pass through Turners Hall Woods, descend towards Walkers and return to the factory yard via Hoytes.

This hike involves uphill climbing and long walks. Interested persons are advised to bring drinking water and snacks, wear suitable clothing to prevent scratches when going through bushy areas, and appropriate enclosed shoes that will not cause slipping.

The event is free and participants are asked to arrive early to complete registration before the hike begins.
