The public is advised that the out-patients section of the pharmacy at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) will be opened this weekend at its relocated site, the Infectious Disease Building, Enmore, Martindales Road, St. Michael.

The out-patient dispensing services were relocated to Enmore from February 25, to facilitate industrial cleaning of the Pharmacy Department.  The department will remain closed on Monday, March 4, and Tuesday, March 5, to facilitate the return to its designated area at the hospital.

The QEH is offering the extended dispensing service on Saturday, March 2, and Sunday, March 3, from 9:00 a.m.to 1:00 p.m. to ensure that patients with repeat prescriptions to be filled on or before Monday receive their medication.

All dispensing services will recommence from the Pharmacy Department at the QEH on Wednesday, March 6.

Patients are reminded that they should have at minimum a seven-day supply of prescribed medication. They are further reminded that QEH prescriptions may be filled at their nearest polyclinic.
