A hotline has been set up for persons who have queries about the Bridgetown Transformation Project.
The number is 836-4629, and persons may call from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., or send WhatsApp messages during this period.
Additionally, members of the public should check the recently launched social media pages, which may be found under the Bridgetown Transformation Project name on Facebook and the bridgetowntransformationbti handle on Instagram.
The hotline and social media platforms were created to provide additional information on the Bridgetown Transformation Project to ensure members of the public are kept informed about its roll out.
Preparatory work on the project has been completed and demolition of the Old NIS Building, the Bridgetown Fire Service and the Temporary Market on Probyn Street will commence next Monday, February 17, and is expected to continue for five weeks.
Contractors will erect hoarding to fully secure the construction site between Saturday, February 15, and Sunday, February 16. The Barbados Tourism Investment Inc. (BTI) is overseeing this project, which is expected to transform the City of Bridgetown.
