A hotline to respond to public queries about the coronavirus, COVID-19, has been set up within the Ministry of Health and Wellness

The telephone number is 536-4500. The 24-hour hotline, which is manned by public health officers, went into operation on Monday.  

According to Acting Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Anton Best, in an instance where an officer is unable to respond immediately to a query, there is a system in place for a follow-up call to be made, once the information is ascertained.
