Prime Minister David Thompson

Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, David Thompson, is expected to move the Second Reading of the Final Appropriation (2008-2009) Bill, 2009, tomorrow, October 20, when the Lower House convenes.

Members of Parliament will also meet in Committee of Supply to debate a Resolution to grant $1, 985,813 from the Consolidated Fund. The sum is to be placed at the disposal of the Government to supplement the Estimates for 2009 to 2010.

The Resolution stands in the name of Member of Parliament, Ronald Jones. The motion will also call for the explanatory Notes to Head 68 to be amended as set out in schedule 11 of the Resolution.
