In an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19, public health officials in the Ministry of Health and Wellness have issued some life-saving advice on how persons should interact with members of their families.

Persons are asked to avoid mingling or close interaction with relatives or friends who are not members of their households.

Additionally, physical distancing and wearing of masks are necessary if there has to be interaction between close relatives and friends from different households.

Persons who share the same home should also practise sanitising and even changing of clothing on returning home if they have to go out and interact with the public.

Furthermore, masks should be worn when in close contact with vulnerable persons in the home, such as the elderly or persons with non-communicable diseases, for example, those who have diabetes or hypertension.
