The Government of Barbados is advising members of the public that in any emergency situation, official information will be issued by the Barbados Government Information Service, which will be posted to its website www.gisbarbados.gov.bb and social media platforms – Facebook – www.facebook.com/gisbarbados,and Instagram and Twitter – @gisbarbados. This information will also be disseminated to all credible and established news agencies.
Persons are reminded that under the Computer Misuse Act, it is an offence to tamper with an official document. Please see below the official gazetted document as opposed to the unauthorized one.
