Barbados will welcome its first guide dog on Thursday, October 9, which is being observed as World Sight Day.

The guide dog, a black Labrador named Dylan, will arrive from Britain on Virgin Atlantic, accompanied by four persons.

On arrival, there will be a press conference in the Grace Adams Suite (VIP Lounge) of the Grantley Adams International Airport, at 3:00 p.m.

Dylan will make his first public appearance on Saturday, October 11, when he participates in a rally at Weymouth Police Sports Club, Roebuck Street, St. Michael, to commemorate World Animal Day.
