Motorists will be paying slightly more for petroleum products effective midnight, Sunday, August 2, as the retail prices of gasoline, diesel and kerosene will increase.

The retail price of gasoline will move from $2.96 to $3.16 per litre, an increase of 20 cents. Diesel will now retail at $2.43 per litre, 12 cents more than the previous price of $2.31. The price of kerosene will move from 82 cents to 86 cents, an increase of four cents.

These price adjustments are in keeping with Government’s policy of allowing retail prices to be reflective of those on the international market.
