The Ministry of Energy has announced changes to the price of gas products as well as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), in keeping with the landed price of petroleum products.

Effective midnight, Saturday, January 25, the retail price of gasoline, has been adjusted from: $3.03 to $3.11 per litre, an increase of eight cents; diesel has increased by seven cents from 2.78 to $2.85 per litre, while the price of kerosene has moved from $1.82 to $1.86 per litre, an increase of four cents.

Meanwhile, consumers will pay less for liquid petroleum gas (LPG). The 100lbs cylinder has been reduced from: $180.16 to $179.67, the 25lbs cylinder from $50.14 to $50.02, and the 22 lbs cylinder from $44.29 to $44.18. The 20 lbs cylinder has seen a reduction from $40.26 to $40.16.

This represents adjustments of 49 cents, 12 cents, 11 cents and 10 cents, respectively.
