The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) will be holding a number of town hall meetings to sensitise the public about its tax administration system and completing their tax returns online.

Under the theme: Electronic Communication – Improving the Delivery of Service, the meetings will commence on Thursday, March 29, at the Lester Vaughan School, Cane Garden, St. Thomas. All meetings will begin at 6:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, April 3, residents in the north of the island will get the opportunity to interact with IRD officials during a meeting at the Alexandra School, Queen Street, St. Peter.

The team will journey to St. Michael on Thursday, April 12, where residents will get the opportunity to hear about the tax filing process during the discussion at the St. Leonard’s Boys’ Secondary School, Richmond Gap, St. Michael.

It will be the turn of residents in the south of the island on Monday, April 16, when officials will be on hand to answer their queries during the talk at the Christ Church Foundation School, Church Hill, Christ Church.

The meetings will culminate on Thursday, April 19, at Queen’s College, Husbands, St. James.
