The wait will soon be over for finalists in this year’s National Innovation Competition, with the winner to be announced at an awards ceremony next Saturday at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.

The competition, which was facilitated by the National Council for Science and Technology, will see the winner awarded with $75 000 to make their innovation a reality.??

First held in 2003, the competition was designed to draw on the creativity found in Barbados and to encourage persons to transform their ideas into viable concepts for the commercial market.
