Minister of Innovation, Science and Smart Technology, Senator Kay McConney, will be among the presenters at a Virtual Digital Conference themed: Executive Mindset: Evolved Thinking for Business Leaders, this Friday, November 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Hosted by the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), the conference will provide the business community with practical knowledge and insights that can help to transform the thinking of business leaders, as they move with urgency to design customer solutions that will allow businesses to survive in the new era.

Senator McConney, who spearheads the Ministry’s work in leading the modernisation of the public sector through transformational and technological change; and creating a sustainable, enabling environment for a vibrant, knowledge-based, digital economy and a digitally intelligent society, will give an update on the Ministry’s work surrounding the digital transformation of Barbados.

Recognising that “technology does not innovate, people do”, this year’s Virtual Digital Conference will highlight the need for ‘outside the box’ thinking to position businesses for success during this current crisis.

Also scheduled to share how innovations can revolutionise business are Chief Executive Officer of Digital Path, Calum Cameron; and Chief Executive Officer and Founder of eBanqo Inc., Charles Ifedi.

Mr. Ifedi, who is also the keynote speaker, will explore the ways in which seamless e-commerce experiences can be created to grow businesses and improve customer experiences.

Digital Path helps build digital societies and adaptive governments, while eBanqo Inc. is one of the leading AI companies which offers businesses the ability to go where their customers are and drive business objectives efficiently.
