Approximately 150 householders could soon be cooking with natural gas as crews from the National Petroleum Corporation (NPC) continue work to install that service in Risk Road, St. James.

Minister of Energy, Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Kerrie Symmonds, and officials from the NPC, did a walk-through of the St. James district recently to get a first-hand look at the installation process.

The Minister, in brief remarks said he was pleased to be a part of this project, as a number of residents in the community had expressed interest in obtaining natural gas.

The project which started in May is expected to be completed within the last quarter of the year.
