Fifth and fourth form students interested in learning the rudiments of Meteorology and Hydrology will get an opportunity to do so when the Caribbean Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology once again offers four week summer courses on those topics.

This year’s theme, "Weather and Water Camp" will focus on a few of the aspects of Meteorology as well as field Hydrology.

Students will gain insight into hydrological observations and measurement techniques; introduction to data management; exposure to global weather systems and their impacts; weather forecasting, agrometeorology and climate change issues, and applications of the Earth Sciences.

Teachers and trainers at secondary and tertiary level institutions may also apply.

Courses are scheduled to begin on Monday, June 28, and conclude on Friday, July 23.
