Insurance matters will take centre stage on Tuesday, July 26, from 6:00 p.m., when the Financial Literacy Bureau (FLB) hosts a virtual clinic.
Insurance: Protection, Investment, Safety Net is the theme of the discussion, which will be presented by insurance professional, Pan American Life Insurance, Kelly-Ann Phillips.
She will examine the role of insurance, its importance and how an individual can get started or better manage his/her insurance portfolio. She will answer: Is insurance a necessity or a scam? Why should I insure my home, assets, life and family?
In addition, Ms. Phillips will explain how insurance can protect assets and lives, act as an investment with future returns, and provide a safety net in emergencies.
