The?? ??Ministry of International Business and International Transport is continuing to play its part in the fight against HIV and AIDS, through public education.

This time, its efforts will take the form of???? a speech writing contest for members of staff as well as stakeholders. The contest is among several activities being planned to mark the National HIV/AIDS Commission’s ???Love Safely Week’, which will be observed from next Friday, February 11, until Saturday, February 19.

Whose Responsibility is My Sexual Health is the topic of the competition, and all speeches should not exceed 1200 words in length. The deadline date for submission is???? Monday, February 21, and entries should be addressed to: Mrs. Brandon-Hall, Ministry of International Business and International Transport, 1st Floor West, Warren’s office complex, Warrens, St. Michael.

Last year, as part of its HIV and AIDS educational outreach, the Ministry commissioned???? the play "All things Bright and …" by Cross-Caribbean Productions.??

The play, which was set in a Barbadian offshore company, featured mature characters all over the age of 50 years, one of whom contracted HIV.????
