The Investigatory Commission into management and administration of the Alexandra School will hold its first public session on Thursday, June 28, at 10.00 a.m. at the Wildey Gymnasium, Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, Wildey, St. Michael.

Governor-General of Barbados, His Excellency, Sir Elliott Fitzroy Belgrave, officially established the Commission of Inquiry, 2012 into the Alexandra School on Friday, June 22. The Hon. Frederick Waterman has been appointed Commissioner; Mr. Milton Pierce, Senior Counsel; Mr. Michael Yearwood, Junior Counsel and Secretary to the Commission, Dr. Donna Hunte-Cox.

The sessions will be held in public and shall be open to the media unless the Commissioner is of the opinion that any part of the Inquiry shall be held in private.

The public is hereby notified that interested persons desirous of giving written witness statements, should submit them under Confidential Cover to the Secretary to the Commissioner, c/o the Gymnasium, Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, Wildey, St. Michael.
