Exploring alternative employment choices, as well as ways to overcome challenges when searching for a job will come into sharp focus next month, when the National Employment Bureau (NEB) is scheduled to host its annual Job Expo.

The event is scheduled to come off on Wednesday, March 2, at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Conference Centre, under the theme "Challenging Employment Environment; Alternative Employment Choices".??

Activities on the day will include presentations by motivational speakers and human resource experts; interactive sessions on effective job hunting; discussions on alternative options to wage employment; and the advantages of retraining.

There will also be opportunities to meet with private sector employers and service providers, who are expected to disseminate information related to their hiring practices, new options for training, and the availability of jobs in their respective organisations.??

Persons attending the fair are advised to dress professionally and to bring their resumes, as some employers will be conducting interviews on the spot for various positions.
