As part of preparations for the 2015 Scotiabank Junior Calypso Monarch Competition, the National Cultural Foundation (NCF) will host three workshops for young persons between the ages of eight and 18.

The first, the Apprentice workshop, will focus on the theme: The Craft of Songwriting, and will take place on Saturday, March 28, at the NCF, West Terrace, St. James, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The second and third workshops, entitled: From Vocalist to Artist: The Complete Package will be held on Saturday, April 4 and Saturday, April 11, at the Queen’s Park Steel Shed, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each day. They will focus on the theme: Taking it to the Stage.
