President of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IACHR) Justice Diego Garc??a-Say??n, along with other Justices of the Court, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Freundel Stuart, last Monday.
Justices Garcia-Say??n, Manuel Ventura Robles and Madam Justice Margarette May Macaulay, discussed a range of issues of mutual interest with the Prime Minister.
The IACHR created history by holding its 44th Extraordinary Period of Sessions in Barbados beginning on Monday, October 10, the first time outside of Latin America.?? The sessions concluded today, Friday October 14.
The Court is based in San Jose, Costa Rica, and to date, has convened 14 Extraordinary Period of Sessions.
