The Kiwanis Club of Bridgetown will have the blessing of the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, when the Silver Dollar Drive for Children Charity is launched this month and schools participate.

The drive will be launched this Thursday, October 15, with a press conference at the Elsie Payne Complex, Constitution Road, St. Michael, at 9:15 a.m.

It will be addressed by Education Minister, Ronald Jones; President of the Kiwanis Club of Bridgetown, Cyril Burke; and Chairman of the Kiwanis Silver Dollars, Rory Hunte.

Kiwanis Silver Dollars is a registered charity that assists the Asthma Association of Barbados, Barbados Cancer Society, Barbados Council for the Disabled, the Dyslexia Centre, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Hope Foundation, The Learning Centre and the Barbados Special Olympics.
