Field officers of the Barbados Statistical Service (BSS) will visit the parishes of St. Michael, Christ Church, St. Philip, St. George, St. James, St. Thomas, St. Peter, and St. Lucy, next month to continue its Labour Force Sample Survey.

The areas which will be surveyed in St. Michael include: Mapp Hill, Pasture Road, Haynes Hill, Plumtree Road, Brewsters Road, Barbarees Hill, Richmond Gap, Rock Dundo Park, Austin Drive, Sandbox Avenue, Wharfdale Road and Proute Road.  

In Christ Church, Lower Gall Hill, Montrose, Gall Hill, Enterprise Main Road, Ocean Mist Drive, Light House Gap, Light House Lane, Silver Sands, Green Garden and St. Christopher will be targeted.

Union Road, Union Development, Belair and Jessamy Lane in St. Philip; and Byde Mill, Drax Hall Woods, Drax Hall Tenantry, Mount Tenantry, Mount Gardens, George Holligan Road and Drax Hall Jump in St. George will be visited by BSS field officers.    

Also included in the survey are the St. James districts of Clermont, Glydor Gardens, Warrens Terrace West, Warrens Park, Warrens Crescent, Warrens Heights, Crystal Heights, Durants Village, Holders Hill and Haynesville.

Residents of Warrens Terrace East, Arthur Seat, Welches Heights, Millennium Heights, Bridgefield, Forty Acres, Vaucluse, Whitehall Tenantry, Shop Hill, Edgehill and Reece Road in St. Thomas, will also be interviewed. 

In St. Peter, field officers are expected to visit Heywoods Estate, Heywoods Park, Church Street Gardens, Golden Mile, Douglas Development, Mount Brevitor, French Village, Mount Prospect, Benny Hall, Mile and a Quarter, Rose Hill and Diamond Corner.

The other districts on the survey’s schedule are Checker Hall, Fryer Well Road, Maycocks Road and Half Moon Fort in St Lucy. 

The BSS has asked all householders included in the survey to cooperate fully with the field officers and has stressed that all information received will be treated confidentially.
