Members of the public are advised that field work for the enhanced Continuous Labour Force Sample Survey will commence next Monday, April 27, and is expected to end on Tuesday, June 30.

This survey is being conducted by the Barbados Statistical Service (BSS), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, under its Skills for the Future Programme.

The exercise will be conducted in 120 enumeration districts across Barbados. During May, the field officers will visit several areas in Christ Church, St. Andrew, St. George, St. John, St. Joseph, St. Thomas, St. Philip, St. Michael, St. James, St. Peter, and St. Lucy.

Interviews will also be done in June in St. Andrew, St. George, St. Joseph, St. Michael, St. James, and St. Peter.??The officers, who have been specially recruited to work on the project, will carry photo identification cards. In addition, under the Statistics Act Cap. 192, they are required to keep confidential all of the information collected from households.

The BSS has asked the public to fully cooperate with the field staff.
