The Barbados Revenue Authority (BRA) advises taxpayers that the deadline for receiving the 10 per cent discount on the 2020-2021 Land Tax bills paid in full is Wednesday, September 23.

At a time when the spread of COVID-19 remains a concern, the Authority is encouraging taxpayers to make use of the multiple online payment channels for land tax where they can make payments at a time, a place and on a device of their choice. These channels include EZpay+ at ezpay.gov.bb, SurePay online at www.surepaybills.com, the Cave Shepherd Mobile App, or the online banking platforms of CIBC First Caribbean International Bank and First Citizens Bank.

Additionally, customers may use the drop boxes available at the Authority’s payment centres to make payments by cheque.  All cheque payments must be accompanied by the bill or have the Map Reference Number written on the back of the cheque and placed in a sealed envelope.

At the Authority’s offices, payments may be made in the Bridge Street Mall; Weymouth Corporate Centre; Warrens Tower II; Holetown Public Complex and Southern Plaza in Oistins.  The opening hours for Bridge Street Mall and Holetown Public Complex are Monday to Friday, between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., while all other locations are 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

SurePay locations are also available for payments.
