The Crop Over festival may officially end this year on Kadooment Day, Monday, August 1, but those persons seeking an extra day of fun and revelry will be able to do so when the Pelican Village hosts ‘Last Lap in the Village’, on Wednesday, August 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

According to coordinator of the event and local artiste, sculptor, and musician, Wayne “Onkphra” Wells, persons can expect the best of Crop Over at the Village.

“We will have everything from local arts and crafts to food, music and steel pan. Also, heritage artefacts will be on display, as well as live demonstrations, warri and pottery. Plus, all the activities will occur in one place. So, come out and experience Bajan culture at its best,” he encouraged.

All persons are invited to join in the masquerade, and members of the Spiritual Baptist Church will close the day’s proceedings.
