The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation has announced the names of three additional schools that will not be ready for the start of the new school year on Monday, September 11.
The schools which were a part of the Ministry’s Domestic Summer Programme that are still under renovation are: Bay Primary which will now reopen on Wednesday, September 13, St. Lawrence Primary, Tuesday, September 12 and the Thelma Berry Nursery School, also on Tuesday, September 12.
New students of the Wesley Hall Infants School will now begin classes on Monday, September 18 and all other students of that institution will begin classes on Tuesday, September 19.
All other schools, both primary and secondary, will start the academic year on Monday, September 11.
The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation regrets any inconvenience which may be caused by this delay.
