The Winston Scott Polyclinic is launching its Child Month activities tomorrow, May 3, at 9:00 a.m., at its Jemmotts Lane, St. Michael location.

Staff will host a variety of events throughout the month and there will be a poster competition for primary schools within the catchment area for children between the ages of eight and 10.

Chief Public Health Nurse (Ag.), Claudette Casey, will give the feature address during the launch and Senior Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Elizabeth Ferdinand, is also scheduled to deliver some brief remarks. There will be a representative from the Ministry of Education and the Combermere Steel Orchestra, as well as preschoolers from the Parent Education for Development in Barbados (PAREDOS), will entertain the audience with musical presentations.
