Volunteers and those employed in the non-governmental organisation (NGO) sector stand to benefit from specialised training that would equip them with the skills to take the sector forward.

The European Union, will be providing 15 training awards for prospective candidates, to pursue the one-year certificate programme in Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) Management.

The programme will be officially launched next Monday, January 25, at the University of the West Indies (UWI) Open Campus, the Pine, St. Michael, starting at 4:00 p.m.?? Manager of the Public Investment Unit, Seibert Frederick, will deliver the feature address.

The certificate programme is being offered in collaboration with the Barbados Government and the UWI Open Campus.
