Suitably qualified Barbadians are being invited to apply for the Organization of American States (OAS) professional development scholarships. The courses will be for a short-term in Law and Current International Relations, from August 6 to August 24.

Eligible candidates must be citizens or permanent residents of Barbados, and have a university degree in law or international relations.?? They must also present copies of their professional degree, certification in the subjects studied and the grades obtained for each.

Additionally, the applicants must be no older than 40 years, possess an excellent command of Spanish and English and should not have been selected previously for a scholarship in International Law.

Completed applications must be submitted to the Economic Affairs Division, Ministry of Finance, 3rd Floor East, Warrens Office Complex, St. Michael, no later than Monday, April 16.
