Know the Law, Know Your Rights! is the title of a series of lectures to be held next month by the Canadian Government-funded IMPACT Justice Project, in collaboration with the Community Development Department.

The first lecture in the Public Legal Education series will focus on the topic: Your Rights Under the Constitution. It will be delivered by retired Justice and author, W. Leroy Inniss, at St. Mark???s Resource Centre, St. Philip, on Saturday, August 8.

The second lecture on the same topic will be held on Saturday, August 15, at Rockfield Community Centre, St. Lucy, while the final one will be on Saturday, August 22, at the Deacons Resource Centre in St. Michael.??Each presentation starts at 4:00 p.m., and members of the public are invited to attend.

The IMPACT Justice Project is a five-year regional justice sector reform initiative being implemented by the Caribbean Law Institute Centre of the Faculty of Law, University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus. The project has as its ultimate outcome enhanced access to justice benefiting men, women, youth and businesses in 13 CARICOM member states.
