The Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training, in collaboration with the Barbados Community College (BCC), will join the Office of the General Secretariat of the Organization of American States, in celebrating the VI Inter-American Week for People of African Descent in the Americas on Wednesday, March 29.

A highlight of the collaboration will be a lecture at 12:30 p.m. in the Liberal Arts Auditorium at the BCC, which will be delivered by part-time tutor, Dr. Editha “Nancy” Jacobs.

 The theme of the lecture is Fighting Slavery’s Legacy of Racism Through Transformative Education in the Americas. Members of the public are invited to attend.
