From Underfeeding to Over-eating: The Origins of the High Incidence of Obesity, Diabetes, Hypertension and Cardio-Vascular Disease in Barbados will be the topic of a lecture to be delivered by ?Pan American Health Organisation/World Health Organisation Representative to Barbados, Dr. Godfrey Xuereb next week.
The lecture will take place on Wednesday, April 29, at the Queen???s Park Steel Shed, Constitution Road, St. Michael, at 7:00 p.m.
It is??the seventh in the series Of Distempers, Diagnoses and Development: The Provision of Medical Services in Barbados, being hosted by the Barbados Museum and Historical Society, the University of the West Indies??? Department of History and Philosophy, and the National Cultural Foundation.
