Ways in which persons can remain active as they age will be discussed later this week, when a lecture is held to address that issue.
Entitled: Solutions for Active Ageing, the lecture will come off on Wednesday, October 1, at Solidarity House, Harmony Hall, St. Michael, from 6:15 to 8:00 p.m.
Organised by the Ministry of Social Care, Constituency Empowerment and Community Development, along with the National Assistance Board (NAB) and the National Committee on Ageing, the lecture is the final event in a series of activities to celebrate Senior Citizens Month.
Senator Professor Henry Fraser will be the featured speaker at the event.??Interested persons may collect tickets from the NAB, Murrell House, Country Road, St. Michael, between 8:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
