Preserving Archives as Evidence will be examined during a public lecture and panel discussion on Wednesday, May 30, at the Three W’s Oval, the University of the West Indies (UWI), Cave Hill Campus, starting at 7:30 p.m.

Historian and Principal of Queen’s College, Dr. David Browne, will give the address, while Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Law, at Cave Hill, Jefferson Cumberbatch; and Head Archivist/Campus Records Manager at UWI, Sharon Alexander-Gooding, will be the panellists.

The lecture will be sponsored by the Barbados Department of Archives in conjunction with the West Indies Federal Archives Centre and it is being hosted in celebration of National Archives Awareness Month.
