As part of its thrust to educate and inform the public about the services sector and the strategies that will encourage growth in our economy and businesses, the Barbados Coalition of Service Industries (BCSI) will host a lecture entitled: The Future of Tertiary Level Education and its Impact on Economic Growth ??? The Marriage between ICT and Education.

It will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11, at the Grande Salle, Central Bank of Barbados, Church Village, Bridgetown, with a mix and mingle cocktail reception from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Minister of Industry, International Business, Commerce and Small Business Development, Donville Inniss, will deliver an address at 6:30 p.m. The lecture will begin at 7:00 p.m., and the featured speaker will be Consultant with British e-learning company, Learning Light, David Patterson.

The lecture is aimed at creating a national forum where leading thinkers and professionals can discuss the challenges and share solutions for economic growth as it relates to the services sector. It is also hoped that it will encourage multi-sectoral dialogue and the formation of a National Committee dedicated to Education as Big Business.
