The Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre. (FP)

To culminate the activities to mark its 25th anniversary, the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre (LESC) will host an open day and showcase forum, tomorrow, Friday, August 21, starting at 10:00 a.m.

Head of Sales and Marketing at the LESC, Alison Roach-Plummer, said that the LESC was officially opened, on August 13, 1994, and has, through the years, evolved and grown to become the premier event and meeting facility in the Caribbean.

“We are hoping to use this very pivotal time, to not only highlight our years in business, but produce a first class event which showcases our passion for excellence and also allows us to showcase the quality work our partners and service providers provide,” she explained.

Visitors to the open day will have an opportunity to experience Christmas in August with a mini Christmas Royale Wonderland; an Animekon Expo area, a wedding display and a gaming fun zone. All rooms at the Centre will be beautifully decorated and enhanced with ultra-modern displays.

There will also be a lighting display by IGM Stage Lighting Inc., with giveaways and surprises throughout the day. The free event is open to all members of the public and persons are asked to note that physical distancing protocols must be adhered to while at Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.
