The Ministry of Health has advised the public that an inspection of the food service canteen at the Lester Vaughan School, carried out on March 15 by Environmental Health Officers had revealed several unsatisfactory conditions that contravened the Health Services (Food Hygiene) Regulations.

As a result, the Ministry of Health has instructed the Board of Management at the school to suspend all activities at the canteen until effective and acceptable remedial work has been carried out.??

Once this has been done, it is expected that the canteen will re-open for usual business on Monday, March 21.
