School children aged 11 to 14 will get an opportunity to share their views on the importance of water as a precious commodity when the National Letter-Writing Competition for 2013 is staged this year.

Interested persons must write a letter about Why Water is Precious and the winning entry will be entered in the 42nd International Letter Writing Competition for Young People.

The entries should not be more than 800 words and they must be accompanied by the following information on a separate page: Name, Date of Birth; address, contact number(s) and email; your school’s name, address and contact number; the name of your teacher/supervisor and the number of words in the letter.

Letters must be submitted to the Marketing Department, General Post Office, Cheapside, Bridgetown, on or before Friday, February 8, at 5:00 p.m., or email to MARKETING@BPS.BB.
