Twenty-eight elderly persons of the Day Care Unit at the Geriatric Hospital, Beckles Road, St. Michael, were recently treated to a day of cheer by the staff of the National Library Service.
The event was a part of the Library???s annual Christmas programme. It featured song, dance and spirited performances by ???Froggie??? and the Pompasetters Tuk Band.
Employees of the National Library Service also donated a hamper to the ward and gave each patient a Christmas gift.
The elderly persons and staff of the Geriatric Hospital presented the National Library Service with a beautiful handmade gift and card to express their appreciation for the over 20 years of continuous support.
