Lifeguards will be heading indoors tomorrow, Wednesday, June 22, to attend the National Conservation Commission’s (NCC) Motivational and Perception Training Retreat at Almond Bay, Hastings, Christ Church.

With summer vacation fast approaching, the full-day activity will be used as an opportunity to allow the staff to re-group and re-energise going into the latter part of the year.??

Tomorrow’s programme will include a presentation by the Ministry of Tourism on ???The Role and Responsibility of the Lifeguard in Tourism’; while the retreat’s main topic will be addressed by Human Resources Management Consultant and facilitator for the event, Rommel Lawrence.

The public has been advised that the 17 beaches across the island would be unmanned tomorrow, as a result of this event.?? Persons are therefore asked to exercise caution should they choose to go to the beach during this time.
