Long-standing and up-and-coming designers will get an opportunity to display their products, when Portico, a new showcase of furniture, furnishings and gift items, opens on Monday, November 10, at Building No. 8, Spring Garden Industrial Estate, St. Michael.
Coordinated by the Barbados Investment & Development Corporation, in collaboration with the Barbados Manufacturers Association and the City of Bridgetown Credit Union, the event will see the Minister of Industry, International Business, Commerce and Small Business Development, Donville Inniss, deliver remarks and lead the official opening and ribbon cutting ceremony, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Aiming to promote the talent of Barbadian manufacturers and artisans, Portico will stock and profile the work of both groups. Persons attending the launch event will be able to view the selections, meet the producers, as well as secure orders.
